What do we have ?

We have the most ductile concrete in the world (at present). Its name is Ultra-High Ductile Cementitious Composites, a member in the family of the well know ECC.

1)UHDCC's uniaxial tensile strength: 5MPa~20MPa;

2)UHDCC's uniaxial flexural strength:15MPa~50MPa;

3)UHDCC's uniaxial tensile strain capacity: 8%~10%;

4)UHDCC's uniaxial compressive strength: 40MPa~150MPa。

The emergence of UHDCC makes it a possibility of construction using concrete but without steel reinforcement, because UHDCC has the close deformability to steel.
