Research interests: Concrete materials and structures under impact and blast loads

• High-speed penetration effect and engineering protection

• Important infrastructures (nuclear island plant, mega bridges, etc.) against impact of aircraft and vehicle

• Anti-terrorism explosion and engineering protection of important economic targets (ground buildings, mega bridges, etc.)

• Properties and constitutive of ultra high performance concrete

• New type of blast-resistant materials and structures

Profile:

Born in October 1981, has devoted in the basic theory, material development and engineering application research in the field of impact and explosion effect and engineering protection. Achievements: (i) winner of the National Science Fund for excellent young scholars (ii) one of the first winners the Outstanding Young Scholars in Explosive Mechanics; (iii) the young and middle-aged scientific and technological leaders of the 333 high-level talent project in Jiangsu Province; (iv) the core member of the innovation research group of the National Natural Science Foundation of China; (v) director of the key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. (vi) In charge of 5 completed or undergoing projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, as well as projects and special grants of China Post Doctoral Science Foundation; (vii) Publications: three English Monographs and more than 120 academic papers have been published, including 72 SCI and 40 EI papers; (viii) Excellent Doctoral Dissertation in Jiangsu Province; (ix) the winner of the Second Class Prize for the State Science and Technology Advancement Award (7 / 10), twice the winner of the First Class Prize (2 / 15, 10 / 11) and four times the winner of the Second Class Prize (2, 3, 6, 9 / 9).
