Prof. Zhiguang ZHOU is currently the Chair of Department of Disaster Mitigation for Structures of Tongji University. He received his Ph.D. in Architecture from the University of Tokyo in 2009. He was a postdoctoral researcher at Japan Atomic Energy Agency from 2010 to 2011. He was a postdoctoral scholar at PEER, University of California, Berkeley and a guest postdoctoral scholar at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from 2012 to 2013. He has won awards from China Building Material Industry Association and the Global Center of Excellence (GCOE) Programs of Japan, and Monbu-Kagakusho Scholarship from Japan.
