Brief Summary

I specialize in Structural Dynamics and Earthquake Engineering, focusing on the Analysis and Design of Concrete Structures and the Dynamic Analysis of Pavements. I earned my Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Patras, Greece, in 2017 and have authored over 50 scientific articles, with 31 published in international journals, resulting in a current H-index of 12 on both Scopus and Google Scholar. From 2018 to 2021, I served as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the School of Civil Engineering, Tongji University in Shanghai, China. Between 2021 and 2022, I was a collaborating teaching staff member at the Hellenic Open University in Patras, Greece, where I supervised M.Sc. postgraduate students. During the same period, I worked as a Senior Structural Engineer at Christie Sarrie & Partners S.A. in Heraklion, Greece, specializing in the design and retrofitting of concrete, masonry, and steel structures for various construction projects. In 2023, I advanced to the role of Associate Research Professor at Tongji University, and as of January 2024, I have been appointed as an Associate Professor at the same institution. During the Spring Semester of 2024, I taught the Advanced Concrete Structures course as part of the graduate program. My contributions to the field have been honored with awards such as the Shanghai Leading Talents Award.
