Research assistantship positions for two Master and one PhD students are available at the Department of Engineering Technology and Department of Electrical Engineering of University of North Texas (UNT).

 Master students: The research area is structural engineering focusing on structural testing using wireless sensor networks. The candidate may have Bachelor degree from structural engineering or bridge engineering with strong hands on testing and programming skills. Prefer applicants familiar with system identification and optimization algorithms and with strong analytical thinking.

 PhD student: The research area is information theory and wireless networks, especially on wireless sensor networks. The candidate may have Bachelor degree from electrical engineering, computer engineering, or math with strong programming skills. Prefer applicants familiar with algorithm design and implementation and with strong analytical thinking.

 UNT Engineering School Requirements: TOEFL, GRE, letters of recommendation, undergraduate transcript (civil engineering), Personal statement.
